¿Cuántas horas de inglés se dictan a la semana?

Somos un colegio bilingüe. Nuestros alumnos llevan aproximadamente 16 horas de inglés a la semana, con cursos destinados a desarrollar las competencias del idioma. Además llevan cursos en inglés en MYP tales como World History, Science y Social Studies.

¿Qué otros idiomas enseñan y a partir de qué grado?

A partir de Grado 6, los alumnos pueden elegir entre el idioma francés o el chino mandarín, y las certificaciones oficiales que se ofrecen son: DELF (Diplome d’etudes en langue fracaise) y el YCT (Youth Chinese Test y HSK: Hanyu Shuipin Kaoshi/Chinese Proficiency Test)

¿Qué deportes practican y cuántas horas a la semana?

Se practican las siguientes disciplinas: Vóley, fútbol, básquet, gimnasia, entre otros. Los alumnos llevan aproximadamente 3 horas a la semana de Educación física.

Así mismo, formamos parte de ADECOPA junto con otros 20 colegios con los cuales sostiene encuentros deportivos y académicos; así como capacitación para maestros.

¿Cuentan con actividades extracurriculares?

Si, dentro de nuestro Club deportivo contamos, entre otros, con Fútbol, Voleibol, Básquet, Gimnasia, Yoga, Tae Kwon do y Games para los más pequeños.

Además de Big Band y talleres musicales, taller de robótica, teatro, taller de debate.

¿Cuántos alumnos y secciones tienen?

En Inicial el promedio es 20 alumnos por salón, entre dos y tres secciones por año.

En primaria y secundaria el promedio es 25 alumnos por salón, entre dos y tres secciones por año

¿Casuarinas es un colegio Laico? ¿enseñan religión católica?

Somos un centro educativo laico. Sin embargo, tenemos un profundo compromiso católico, por lo que ofrecemos el curso de Religión Católica a todos los alumnos que profesan está religión. También se les prepara para los sacramentos (primera comunión y confirmación). Por otro lado, el curso de Valores y Religiones del Mundo está orientado a alumnos nacionales y extranjeros que profesan otras religiones.

¿Tienen viajes de intercambio estudiantil?

Promovemos la participación de nuestros alumnos en intercambios estudiantiles y experiencias internacionales; tenemos diversos convenios y programas. Algunos de nuestros destinos son: Canadá, Inglaterra, USA, Suiza, Francia, entre otros.

How many students and sections do you have?

In Initial the average is 18 students per classroom, between two and three sections per year.
In primary and secondary school the average is 25 students per classroom, between two and three sections per year.

Is Casuarinas a secular school? Do you teach Catholic religion?

We are a secular school. However, we have a deep Catholic commitment, so we offer the Catholic Religion course to all students who profess this religion. They are also prepared for the sacraments (first communion and confirmation). On the other hand, the Values and World Religions course is oriented to national and foreign students who profess other religions.

Do you have student exchange trips?

We promote the participation of our students in student exchanges and international experiences; we have several agreements and programs. Some of our destinations are: Canada, England, USA, Switzerland, France, among others.
